Join us for Courage & Coffee with our special guest Dr. Debbie Joffe Ellis where she will share the 'How-Tos'” of thinking in healthy, rational ways during tough times in order to create healthy emotions and help those around us achieve greater equanimity too - no matter how dire the circumstances.

Outcomes: 
  • Learn the difference between rational and irrational thinking, and the tyranny of the "shoulds" !
  • Understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy negative emotions.
  • Discover the benefit and importance of daily gratitude and unconditional acceptance of self, others and life.​

This session will teach you a simple strategy to gain control in day-to-day situations. If you are able to think about your thinking more consistently, you’ll be better able to navigate ambiguous, unexpected, and just plain annoying situations with grace and ease. This session will give you the framework to hone in on your thoughts and change the way those thoughts shape your emotions and behaviors.

Outcomes: 
Learn about the research connected to “thinking about your thinking” how applying these concepts builds calm and resiliency.
Understand how habitual patterns of thinking can influence our “go to reactions” and influence outcomes of our daily lives.
